When Gabi first visited Peppermint Grove Jewellers, she wasn’t looking to replace her engagement ring. She came in with a desire to honour what already existed, while exploring how her ring could evolve to reflect the person she is today.

Her original solitaire held an heirloom diamond, a stone already rich with history before it ever became hers. A diamond filled with meaning, chosen again in a moment that marked the beginning of both hers and Chad’s story. It had been perfect for who they were then. Years later, as her style evolved and their relationship became more defined, Gabi began dreaming of a design that felt more like her today and the couple they had become, while still carrying everything she treasured about the heirloom and what it signifies.

Gabi’s heirloom diamond remains an integral part of the redesign, thoughtfully incorporated into the new three-stone setting as one of the side stones, where it continues to hold deep sentimental significance. It now sits alongside a 2.20ct centre diamond and a matching 0.80ct diamond, creating a beautifully balanced composition in 18kt yellow gold.

The ring features a 3.2mm wide band with a subtle taper toward the base of the shank, a small but important detail that enhances comfort while maintaining a strong, elegant presence on the hand.
